As a result, graduates of The Freedom Theatre\u00a0Acting School, Faisal Abu Alhayja and Alaa Shehada were chosen to work with Mark\u00a0on the his\u00a0show <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em>Showtime from the Frontline<\/em><\/span>, about the Jenin comedy club.\u00a0The trio kicked off their UK tour of \u00a0<span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em>Showtime from the Frontline<\/em><\/span>\u00a0in February and the response has been phenomenal!\u00a0In the words of Mark Fisher in\u00a0<span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/stage\/2018\/feb\/15\/mark-thomas-showtime-from-the-frontline-review-traverse-theatre-edinburgh\">The Guardian<\/a><\/span>\u00a0&#8220;It is a comedy show about a comedy show, one that demonstrates the radical power of giving a voice to the voiceless.&#8221; Mark Brown writes in <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/comedy\/what-to-see\/hilarious-engaging-tale-comedy-club-jenin-showtime-frontline\/\">The Telegraph<\/a><\/span> &#8220;<span class=\"m_first-letter m_first-letter--flagged\">C<\/span>ombining performance with film of the club night in Jenin itself, this engaging, thought-provoking and extremely funny show breaks down common stereotypes and preconceptions one joke at a time.&#8221;<br \/>\n\u201cWe still don\u2019t know the result,\u201d says Shehada, \u201cbut what I hope we will do is break the stereotype of what \u2018refugee\u2019 means, what \u2018Palestinian\u2019 means, because every time you travel around, you go to America, to the UK, as an artist, suddenly there is a stereotype about who and what you are.&#8221;<br \/>\nMark Says &#8220;We are hugely proud of both what was achieved in Jenin and of this show here, in the UK.
