This is the second performance schedule for the play, touring around West Bank this time to reach more communities and audiences in Palestine.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em>Jinan<\/em><\/span> is\u00a0based on the\u00a0world famous Swedish children\u2019s book Pippi Longstocking, by Astrid Lindgren. <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em>Jinan<\/em><\/span>\u00a0is a young Palestinian girl, a feminist, an optimist and a free thinker \u2013 the Pippi Longstocking\u00a0character has encouraged countless girls to believe in themselves, both in Sweden and abroad and has\u00a0inspired the creation of <em>Jinan<\/em>.<br \/>\n<em>\u201cHe\u2019s the strongest man in the world.\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201cMan, yes,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0she said\u00a0<em>\u201cbut I am the strongest GIRL in the world, remember that.\u201d <\/em><strong>Pippi Longstocking, Astrid Lindgren.<\/strong><br \/>\n<em><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Jinan<\/span> will be\u00a0<\/em><i>performed over the coming days in the\u00a0following cities:<\/i><br \/>\n<i class=\"\">28th July &#8211; 6pm at The Freedom Theatre, Jenin<br \/>\n<\/i><i class=\"\">29th July &#8211; 12 noon at The Freedom Theatre, Jenin<br \/>\n<\/i><i class=\"\">30th July &#8211; first show 11am and second show 4pm at The Freedom Theatre, Jenin<br \/>\n<\/i><i class=\"\">1st August &#8211; 5.30pm at Al Kasaba Theatre, Ramallah<br \/>\n<\/i><i class=\"\">2nd August &#8211; 10.30 am at The Municipality Theatre, Jericho<\/i><\/p>\n<div class=\"\">\n<div class=\"\">\n<i>Jinan<\/i>\u00a0was funded by the Swedish International\u00a0Development Agency (Sida) as a part of the Palestinian Performing Arts Network (PPAN) and in cooperation with the Folkteatern in Gothenburg.\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\">\u00a0<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazy lazy alignleft wp-image-54441\" src=\"http:\/\/thefreedomtheatre.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/logos-jinan.jpg\" sizes=\"(max-width: 616px) 100vw, 616px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/thefreedomtheatre.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/logos-jinan.jpg 752w, http:\/\/thefreedomtheatre.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/logos-jinan-300x71.jpg 300w\" alt=\"\" width=\"616\" height=\"145\" data-original=\"http:\/\/thefreedomtheatre.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/logos-jinan.jpg\" \/><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The production of Jinan began in February 2018 and had eight performance at The Freedom Theatre in the same month.
