Since the 1970\u2019s, firing zones, closed military areas and illegal Israeli settlements, have led to the displacement of entire communities. \u00a0Others live under the constant threat of forced expulsion. In addition, Palestinian residents face violent harassment from settlers, home demolitions and restricted access to farming land. \u00a0Many communities lack paved roads, electricity, telephone lines, running-water, or a sewage system.
