Zakaria Zubeidi, co-founder of The Freedom Theatre, has been held in Palestinian Authority prison since May 13 and no charges or evidence of wrongdoing have been presented against him. He has been severely mistreated and his rights violated on many accounts. Instead of being charged or released, Zakaria’s punitive detention is repeatedly extended. Last week Zakaria decided to suspend the food and fluid strike he had undergone, after having been given promises to be released promptly. Today his detention was yet again extended until the 7th of October.

Help us keep up the pressure to make sure that Zakaria is released from punitive detention and treated in accordance with Palestinian and international law!
