The Freedom Theatre is rooted in Jenin and connected to a global community of friends, partners and supporters who believe in the power of culture, artistic freedom and collective resilience.
Since its founding, The Freedom Theatre has been sustained by the solidarity of individuals, organisations and foundations in Palestine and around the world. Their support helps us create space for children, young people and artists to express themselves, develop their creative practice and imagine new possibilities in the face of occupation, displacement and injustice.
Our Friends Associations are an important part of this international network. They strengthen The Freedom Theatre through fundraising, advocacy, cultural exchange, public events and community-building in their respective countries.

The Freedom Theatre has always been a joint venture; gathering people around the world who wish to join, primarily, the children and youth of Jenin refugee camp in their struggle against occupation and injustice. The Freedom Theatre is supported by foundations, organisations and individuals, who contribute in various ways towards realizing the goals of the theatre, encouraging the arts as a source of creativity, providing the tools to challenge present realities and build a better future.
