Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar. It is a time when Muslims around the world focus on prayer, fasting from dawn until sunset, giving to charity and spiritual reflection. This year’s Ramadan will start on the 10th of July and will continue for 30 days until the 8th of August.
During Ramadan, The Freedom Theatre will be open between 11:00-15:00 Sunday to Thursday. We are happy to receive visitors during these hours. We do ask all visitors to show respect for those who are fasting by not drinking, eating or smoking a the theatre during fasting hours.
