The Freedom Theatre will soon start work on a new play for children. This comes after a six-month research process where we collected many stories from the children of Jenin refugee camp.
Auditions will be held at The Freedom Theatre on the 26th and 28th of September, starting at 10:00.
We are looking for Arabic-speaking actors who:
– are specialised in movement and physical theatre, and are able to play characters of different ages and multiple characters
– are able to work within a team, in the framework of innovation and improvisation
– can interact and talk with children during and after the performances
We will provide each actor with a text before the audition and give them time to prepare the scene.
