The Freedom Theatre proudly presents its young acting students’ very first in-house production, Animal Farm, an adaptation of the book written by George Orwell.

The Animal Farm tells the story of a farm where the animals revolt and overthrow the human owner to set the farm up as a commune in which, at first, all animals are equal; however, class and status disparities soon emerge between the animals and the commune’s ideologies are manipulated and twisted by those in positions of power.

The official opening takes place at The Freedom Theatre in Jenin Refugee Camp, Occupied Palestine, on March 23 at 14.00 and performances will run almost daily throughout the remainder of March.
