Youth from Gaza and the West Bank will meet via video conference to share stories about the water crisis. During the event, The Freedom Theatre’s Freedom Bus troupe will also use Playback Theatre to elicit and enact personal accounts relating to the theme of water. These enactments will be improvised responses to the stories shared by youth. Youth will also share photographs they have taken documenting the water crisis in their villages in Gaza and the West Bank.
This interactive theatre event represents a first for the West Bank and Gaza – two Palestinian societies cut off from each other due to restrictions on movement imposed by Israel.
