Dates: 30 November – 3 December 2013 (4 days)
Times: 9:30am – 4pm each day

We will work with sound, image, and objects to develop character and story. We will explore ways of shaping and framing a short solo performance through the merging of body and text. Specific theater techniques that we will use in this workshop include viewpoints, clown, and melodrama. The workshop will end with an informal presentation of student pieces.

Performing artists, educators, writers and community workers are welcome to join this workshop. We recommend that all participants join the preceding Voice and Movement training offered from November 27th – 29th at Studio Emad Eddin by Sayda Trujillo.
