Friends in Amman, welcome to break the fast with us and enjoy a performance of our play Return to Palestine on May 29!
On May 29 after iftar, Return to Palestine will be performed in English at ICS (International Community School) in Amman, Jordan.
Return to Palestine has toured extensively both in Palestine and internationally. The play is directed by Micaela Miranda and devised together with an ensemble of graduated students of The Freedom Theatre School.
Return to Palestine is a versatile play where the actors, in a sarcastic, comic and tragic style, create the physical and emotional space they live in with their bodies on a very small stage – as small as Palestine.
During our stay in Jordan, we will also give three theatre workshops for students:
Sunday May 28 at 10:35-11:40: Workshop for students 11-14 years old.
Sunday May 28 at 14:20-16:00: Workshop for students aged 15 and up.
Monday May 29 at 10:35-11:40: Workshop for students 14-18 years old.
