The Board of Directors of The Freedom Theatre announces that Ahmed Tobasi, who served as Artistic Director from June 2020 until June 2024, has concluded his role with the theatre as of June 2024.
During his tenure, Tobasi contributed to the artistic development of the theatre through programming, collaborations, and leadership across productions and initiatives. The theatre thanks Tobasi for his service and dedication during this period.
As of June 2024, Tobasi holds no artistic, managerial, or representative role with The Freedom Theatre, and any current or future professional activities by Tobasi are entirely independent of the institution.
