Some 700 children gathered in the midst of Jenin Refugee Camp on July 29 to see a circus performance staged by Clowns Without Borders from France as well as the Palestine National Circus School from Ramallah.
Smiles and laughter abound among the young audience who, defying the late afternoon sun, came out to enjoy the clownery, juggling and acrobatics of this first large-scale outdoor performance hosted by The Freedom Theatre.
